ASDEC is also helping VETERANS with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The need for service dogs to aid war veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is critical. This disorder affects about 5.2 million Americans or about 30% of war veterans.
Currently the Veteran's Administration will not pay to supply the veterans with service dogs.
To fill this need, ASDEC provides dogs for veterans at no or low cost. We have successfully partnered many dogs with veterans, but we need your help to continue!
Here at the Assistance Service Dog Education Center there are several dogs ready for placement. There is no waiting period other than the time it takes to match your personality with the appropriate service dog. Contact Gerald Whitaker for training, purchase and or placement information. To reserve you Service Dog there is a $500.00 deposit required. We cannot guarantee which dog will be reserved due to our policy to match a dog to your personality. (All deposits are refundable minus a $25.00 application fee)
Here at ASDEC we are a 100% Non Profit Organization. We utilize 100% volunteers so that all donations are given directly to those who need the assistance. We are extremely proud to say that we have donated 10 Service Dogs to men and woman that have served our country protecting the day to day freedoms that we all enjoy, at no cost due to your past donations. Your generous donation keeps this service available to those who otherwise cannot afford the service.
If you would like to donate to the Foundation, you may do so by simply using our convenient Pay Pal Account, located on this page or by contacting the foundation directly.
Here at the Assistance Service Dog Educational Center we have placed many of our Service Dogs with Disabled War Veterans that suffer from physical injuries and or post traumatic stress syndrome. We have been fortunate enough to bridge a partnership with the wounded warrior project to help War Veterans in obtaining a Service Dog with financial assistance.
